We’re excited to announce our Integrated Password Strength Evaluator feature.

The Integrated Password Strength Evaluator analyzes the strength of any password within any runtime rule script.

This new capability allows security teams to detect and tag login attempts that contain weak passwords. Because spikes in weak (easily guessable) passwords are a high signal indicator of Account Takeover attempts, using this new capability allows security teams to see ATO attempts sooner and shut them down faster.

The weak password evaluator is available as a function in the Impart Rule Scripts DSL, which makes it efficient and secure to implement. Only requests that contain passwords are evaluated, the password strength evaluator only adds sub-microsecond latency to those requests, and no password data leaves your environment during the process.
